What we collect. And what we don't.
Last updated: July 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to send you the thing you bought, count visits so we know what's working, and nothing else. No trackers or advertising pixels run in your browser. No selling your email. The one thing that leaves our server for advertising is a hashed, unreadable version of your email, sent to Meta only if you arrived from one of our ads. The details are in "Who we share it with" below.
Who's responsible for your data
Finish by Fri.day™ is a trademark and trade name of Optimize Income, LLC, a United States limited liability company. Optimize Income, LLC is the data controller for the information described here: the party that decides what's collected and why. "We" and "us" throughout this policy mean Optimize Income, LLC.
What we collect
- Email — when you take the diagnostic, join a waitlist, or buy a product. We use it to deliver what you asked for and (if you bought something) for related transactional messages like your receipt.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number. We store the Stripe session ID and the amount charged, so we can issue refunds and report sales.
- Diagnostic answers — your 7 answers and the bucket you landed in. Used to send your result email and to segment our list (so we can write to the structure people separately from the fear people, when that's useful).
- Cookieless pageviews — we count visits by hashing your IP, browser, and the current date. The hash rotates daily, so we can't track you across days. No cookies. No fingerprinting.
- UTM tags — if a link to the site has utm_source / utm_medium / utm_campaign on it, we save those alongside any signup so we know which posts and channels work.
- Ad click ID — if you arrive from one of our Meta ads, the link carries a click identifier (the
fbclidin the URL). We use it on our server to tell Meta the ad worked. It's not a cookie, and it isn't stored to track you across sites.
What we don't
- No advertising pixels or tracking scripts running in your browser: no Meta Pixel, no TikTok pixel, no Google tag. (We do measure our Meta ads server-side, with a hashed email; see below.)
- No selling your data. Not to anyone. Not ever.
- No cookies that track you across other websites.
- No third-party analytics. Our analytics are first-party and aggregate.
Who we share it with
The vendors we need to run the business:
- Stripe — for payments. They see your card and email.
- Resend — to send transactional email (diagnostic result, framework delivery, receipts). They see your email and the email body.
- Railway — the hosting platform our site runs on. They see request logs.
- Meta — only if you arrived from one of our ads and then signed up. Our server sends Meta a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email and the ad's click ID, so Meta can confirm the ad worked and improve who we show ads to. Meta cannot read your email from the hash. This happens on our server: no Meta code, pixel, or cookie runs in your browser.
- Anthropic — only if you're a Memo subscriber and you use the Finisher, the chat companion in your hub. The messages you send the Finisher and the Finisher's replies pass through Anthropic (the maker of Claude) under their commercial API terms, which include not training on that traffic. The Finisher conversations stay in your account: you can delete any conversation instantly, and conversations you haven't touched in 90 days are deleted automatically. If you never use the Finisher, nothing goes to Anthropic.
That's the list. We use no other data processor, and we never share your actual email address, name, or diagnostic answers with any advertising platform, only the hashed value described above.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or anywhere else with a privacy law, you have the right to ask us what we have on you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days.
You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with a single click: the unsubscribe link in every email works the way unsubscribe links should: one click, you're off the list, no "are you sure?" friction.
You can also tell us not to share your hashed email with Meta for ad measurement. Email [email protected] with "opt out of ad sharing" and we'll stop. This is the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" right some laws give you, and it costs you nothing to use.
Children
Finish by Fri.day is for adult working professionals. The site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and announce the change in the Friday Memo. The latest version is always at this URL.
