About

Tools, not coaching.

Finish by Fri.day™ makes digital frameworks for people who have something important to create (a deck, an article, a pitch, a plan) and can't get it out the door.

Why this exists

The people moving fastest right now are the ones who've figured out how to think with AI. Most professionals haven't, not really. They've tried it, gotten generic output back, and quietly concluded the problem is them.

It isn't. The gap isn't intelligence, and it isn't effort. It's friction: the blank page, the sprawling scope, the draft that sounds like a robot wrote it, the finished thing you can't bring yourself to send. Every one of those is a solvable, mechanical problem. Most advice treats them as character flaws.

We build the frameworks that remove the friction, package them so you can use them on a Friday, and stay out of your way.

How we're different

No coaching. No cohorts. No calls. No "transformation journey." We don't want a standing place in your calendar, and we don't sell access to us.

We sell the tool itself (the prompt, the protocol, the step-by-step framework) so you can do the thing yourself, today, and not need us again until the next time you're stuck. A good tool makes itself unnecessary. That's the point.

Who it's for

Corporate professionals doing real knowledge work (the strategy doc, the board update, the conference talk, the proposal) who feel the AI wave moving and don't want to be left behind by it. People who don't need motivation. They need the friction gone.

How it works

Yes, the sunglasses say Friday. We're serious about the work, not about ourselves.

Who's behind it

I'm Leigh. I built Finish by Fri.day for the people who already know how to do their job, and still can't get the project off their list and out the door.

I'm not a productivity coach. I'm an engineering leader. I've spent twelve-plus years building and shipping software, the last several managing teams that build AI products at a Fortune 500 financial-intelligence company, and before that leading digital relaunches for national media brands. AI as a working tool, and the gap between "capable person" and "finished work," isn't a side interest for me. It's my actual job, every day.

I kept watching capable people decide the AI gap was a them problem. It isn't. It's friction, and friction is mechanical, which means it's fixable. So I started building the fixes: the prompt, the protocol, the framework. The things I wished someone would just hand me instead of booking me a call.

And I use them. I wrote and shipped this whole business with the same tools I'm selling you: the Voice Kit and the Brain Dump did the writing and the unsticking. The newer pieces came after, and they go into the next thing I build. I don't sell anything here I wouldn't reach for myself.

That's the whole company. No coaching, no cohorts, no calls. Just the tools, so you can finish the thing yourself, this week, and not need me again until the next one.
